Taiyyar ("we", "us", "our") operates a WhatsApp-based AI personal styling service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you interact with Taiyyar on WhatsApp, we may collect:

  • Photos you send - outfit images, selfies, or wardrobe photos shared for styling advice
  • Style preferences - your stated preferences, body type, occasion details, and feedback
  • WhatsApp contact info - your phone number and display name as provided by the WhatsApp Business API
  • Usage data - timestamps of messages, feature usage, and subscription status

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide personalised styling recommendations
  • Process your photos through AI models to analyse outfits and suggest improvements
  • Manage your subscription and payment status
  • Improve our service quality and AI accuracy
  • Send transactional messages (e.g. subscription confirmations)

3. AI Processing

Your photos are processed by AI models to generate styling advice. We do not use your photos to train third-party AI models. Photos are processed in real time and are not retained beyond what is necessary to deliver your styling results, unless you choose to save them to your style profile.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:

  • Infrastructure providers - cloud hosting and AI processing services that help us run Taiyyar
  • Payment processors - to handle subscription billing securely
  • Legal requirements - if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process

6. Data Retention, Deletion & How to Request Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Once you request deletion, we permanently remove all personal data associated with your account from our systems within 30 days, including photos, style preferences, and conversation history.

How to delete your data

You can request deletion of all your personal data using any of the following methods:

  • Via WhatsApp - Send the message "delete my wardrobe" to Taiyyar on WhatsApp. You will receive a confirmation once your data has been deleted.
  • Via email - Send a deletion request to hi@taiyyar.in from the email or phone number associated with your account. Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.

What gets deleted

  • All photos and images you shared with Taiyyar
  • Your style preferences and profile information
  • WhatsApp contact information (phone number, display name)
  • Conversation history and usage data
  • Subscription and payment records (except where retention is required by law)

After deletion, your data cannot be recovered. If you use Taiyyar again after deletion, a new account will be created.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

If you are a resident of India, you may also have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), including the right to nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf.

8. Third-Party Services

Taiyyar uses the Meta (WhatsApp) Business Platform to communicate with you. By using Taiyyar, you also agree to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. We do not control the data practices of third-party platforms. If you connected to Taiyyar through a Meta product (Facebook or Instagram), you can also manage or revoke access from your Meta account under Settings > Apps and Websites.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via WhatsApp or by updating the date at the top of this page.
